From losing two wonderful horses to dealing with COVID-19 there have been many painful challenges over the last few years. These challenges have resulted in cutting lesson/clinic schedules and even thoughts of retirement from teaching all together. I’ve given myself a year to morn the loss of Rio & Griffin while consoling myself with my new partner Malibu and to reflect what my future equestrian life would entail.
During this time off I realized that my instruction has developed from teaching mostly dressage riders to working with all types of riders on how to improve and enjoy their horse. My mantra for my students has become “ride better” to be the person your horse deserves. It’s with these thoughts and a load of new ideas that I decided to rebrand my training business and call it VSP Equestrian otherwise known as VSP EQ. |
